Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the present government of Pakistan is taking steps to protect biodiversity.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the virtual session of the UN summit on Biodiversity at 75th United Nations General Assembly (UNGS) said that PTI government is taking steps for the protection of biodiversity.
In his address, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that climate change is accelerating in Pakistan as it extends from north to south and east.
The Prime Minister said that K2, the second-highest peak in the world, is in Pakistan while It is 2,000 km above sea level.
The Prime Minister further said that Pakistan has 12 climate zones and we have vertical slopes while Pakistan is among the top 10 countries affected by climate change.
