Pakistan will arrive in Southampton on Monday for the second Test against England. The visitors are playing to stay alive in the three-match series after suffering a three-wicket defeat in the first Test in Manchester. The Green Caps’ batting coach Younis Khan will be holding a special training session with the batsmen after their disappointing performance in the second innings of the series opener. Pakistan, despite having a healthy 107-run lead, suffered a dramatic batting collapse in the second innings, where they were bowled out for just 169 during the first Test. The remaining two matches of the series will be played in Southampton, which will be followed by a three-match T20I series starting from August 28 in Manchester.  

MANCHESTER: England star Ben Stokes will miss the concluding two Tests against Pakistan for family reasons, the England and Wales Cricket Board announced Sunday. Stokes's father Ged was admitted to hospital in Johannesburg two days before Christmas last year with a serious illness while following his son´s progress with the England cricket team during their tour of South Africa. Ged Stokes, a former New Zealand rugby league international, underwent three operations and spent 37 days in hospital, with his conditions initially described as "critical" before it stabilised. He has since continued his recovery in New Zealand. Despite his father's health problems, Stokes was named player of the series in England´s 3-1 Test series win over South Africa. Britain's official coronavirus daily death count could be scrapped following an investigation into Public Health England’s method of counting it, reported the  Telegraph. The conclusions of the investigation, which was ordered by Health Secretary Matt Hancock after it emerged officials were “exaggerating” virus deaths, are expected this week, the newspaper said. One recommendation could be to move to a weekly official death toll instead, a government source told the  Telegraph. Britain paused its daily update of the death toll last month and the government ordered a review into how Public Health England reports coronavirus deaths, after academics said the daily figures may include people who died of other causes. ISLAMABAD: An accountability court in Islamabad indicted former president Asif Ali Zardari in the Park Lane reference today (Monday) via video link. The accountability judge had directed authorities to ensure that the accused present himself for the hearing today. Zardari appeared before the court for today’s hearing via video link from his Bilawal House residence in Karachi. Other suspects in the case also attended proceedings of the case via video link. Zardari told the court that his lawyer, Naek, was busy in court hence he could not be indicted today.  "Your lawyer knew beforehand about the date of today's hearing," responded the judge. "You will be indicted (today)." The accountability court judge said that Zardari's lawyer could have sent his assistant lawyer to attend today's hearing.  Problems of Purity - Hadith No. 6 Hadith in Arabic حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحُشُوشَ مُحْتَضَرَةٌ ، فَإِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ ، فَلْيَقُلْ : أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ " .
