Shoaib Akhtar Mocked Shahid Afridi on The Occasion of His Birthday

Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar satirized his former teammate Shahid Afridi while congratulating him on his birthday.

Akhtar congratulated Afridi on his birthday by tagging him in his tweet. Immediately after the wish, Akhtar asked the former Pakistan captain to state his exact date of birth, "Now tell me the correct one, Lala" (now tell the correct one). The birth date of the former Pakistan captain has caused a great deal of controversy throughout his career. Now that Afridi has retired, Akhtar used the opportunity to ask him about his actual date of birth. Shortly after Akhtar's tweet, Afridi thanked his former colleague and said: "Time is running out, brother." However, according to Espncricinfo, Afridi revealed in his autobiography "Game Changer" that he was born in 1975. However, the publication said that Afridi did not share a month or day in the book. But the publication claims that if Afridi was born in 1975, "he is probably five years older than that: official records, including ESPNcricinfo's player profile pages, give his date of birth as March 1, 1980".
